As an imam with 17 years of experience, I have dedicated myself to serving my community in Bowling Green Ky by guiding them spiritually and helping them navigate the challenges of life through the teachings of Islam. I graduated from the well-known Al-Azhar University in Cairo, which has provided me with a solid foundation in Islamic knowledge and jurisprudence. This education, combined with my years of practical experience, allows me to lead prayers, deliver sermons, and offer counsel with both wisdom and compassion.
My role is not just to lead prayers, but to foster a sense of unity, peace, and spiritual growth within the community. I am deeply committed to helping others by providing guidance on personal matters, answering questions about faith, and offering support during difficult times. Over the years, I have learned that being an imam is about building relationships, offering empathy, and being a source of strength for those who seek it.
I consider myself a servant of the community, and my work is driven by a sincere desire to help others grow closer to Allah s,w,t, and live their lives following His guidance. It is an honor to serve as an imam, and I remain committed to fulfilling my duties with humility and dedication.”
I am also mindful of the importance of representing Islam and the Islamic Center of Bowling Green in the wider society. Whether engaging in interfaith dialogue, volunteering as Warren County police chaplain, or participating in local events, I aim to be a positive representative of our faith, promoting mutual understanding, respect, and peace.
I view my role as a privilege and a responsibility, one that requires constant learning, humility, and dedication. I am grateful for the opportunity to guide my community, and I continue to strive to be a source of support, wisdom, and inspiration for those around me.”
