Weekend School at ICBG

The Weekend School at the Islamic Center of Bowling Green (ICBG) is designed for children to enhance their religious education. Below is the schedule and class structure for both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday Schedule

First Group (Sufara/Safara):
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Second Group (Qur’an):
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Third Group (Small Kids):
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Sunday Schedule

First Group (Sufara/Safara):
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Second Group (Qur’an):
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Third Group (Small Kids):
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Weekend Prayer Timings
  • Noon Prayer (Dhuhr): 12:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Jumu’ah (Friday Prayer): Please refer to the Jumu’ah schedule for specific timings.
Daily Qur'an Practice (Except Saturday, Sunday, and Monday)
  • Saturday & Sunday:
    Learning how to read the Qur’an (Arabic alphabet) immediately after the Fajr prayer.
    (Sufara after Fajr prayer)
Lectures
  • Saturday:
    Lecture in Bosnian
    (Subota predavanje na Bosanskom)
  • Sunday:
    Lecture in English
Class Timings After Isha Prayer

All classes will be held after the Isha prayer for those interested.

About ICBGKY

The Outreach Committee of the ICBG arranges presentations and visits to the mosque for schools, churches, and other organizations. Visits can also be arranged for individuals interested in learning about Islam and the Muslim community. Please contact us to set up visitation time for yourself or your group.
